ARTS ADMINISTRATION INTERN

Vertical Player Repertory, a Brooklyn-based indie opera company, has an immediate opportunity for a well-organized college student or high school senior who is interested in opera, theatre and arts administration. 15 to 20 hours a week starting immediately. Hours can be flexible.

The intern will assist with production preparation and planning for future events. Intern will work with the artistic director and core planning team in a broad range of tasks, including audience cultivation, scheduling, marketing, social-networking outreach, box-office & front-of-house management, database upkeep, and company development.

PRODUCTION INTERN

Vertical Player Repertory, a Brooklyn-based indie opera company, has an immediate opportunity for a college student or high school senior who is experienced or interested in learning hands-on production of opera and theatre. 15 to 20 hours a week starting immediately. Hours can be flexible.

The intern will assist with rehearsals and performances and with production planning for future events. The intern will work closely with the artistic director and core production team in a broad range of production, event organization, and tech theater related tasks, including assistant stage management and management and maintenance of props, scenery and lighting.

WEB AND TECHNOLOGY INTERN

Vertical Player Repertory, a Brooklyn-based indie opera company, has an immediate opportunity for a college student or high school senior with strong web development and/or technology skills who is interested in opera, theatre and the arts. 10 to 15 hours a week starting immediately. Hours can be flexible.

The intern will work with the artistic director and current designer/webmaster to maintain and update the company website. Intern will also help with organizing and posting media such as video and audio archives, and research and implement a photo gallery tool, for easy use by the company.
